The Portman stone team reached out to us directly to re-design and develop their site to a modern, clean, interactive and eye-catching website to effectively portray their leading stone material offering.
- Bespoke Design: We performed an in-depth discovery to extensively research the industry and the leading competitors to make sure we would be ahead of the game with a cutting edge design. We combined the latest design trends as well as UX consideration to create an engaging visual for the site tailored to portman stone’s target demographic.
- Development: Our development team took our bespoke design and used leading development technologies including vue.js and a headless cms to create an interactive and responsive website, ensuring we would have a smooth and enjoyable experience for all users.
- Onsite SEO: Throughout the project we made sure SEO consideration was part of each phase of our journey. Making sure the site would be technically optimised to perform well within search and boost organic performance for the client.

Speed & Interactivity
We created the site to have the ability to be interactive without compromising speed. To achieve this the site was developed in Vue.js a lightning fast Javascript framework. This allowed us to achieve a high level of interactivity whilst also maintaining great loading times and good Google Core Vitals.
We also opted to develop the site on a headless WordPress CMS for the site as this would also enable faster speeds for the site but also with the benefit of being more secure and future-proof.
As part of the development we created a bespoke sample selector form; this allows users to select from a range of materials displayed alongside their matching visuals. This enables users to see examples of each stone surface whilst allowing the client to provide more customised quotations for potential customers.

Along with the visual design, we wanted to focus on creating a site that was dynamic, interactive and would allow the client to update and populate with new content effortlessly.
